Interesting Large Japanese Photograph WW2 Era

A large mounted photograph showing Japanese military alongside civilians, it looks like a town scene and some sort of celebration as the background is adorned with flowers. The central figures are in uniform and some are wearing medals, the civilians are in black robes and the men are wearing the high stacked shoes.
An interesting and intriguing piece in good condition, the mount measures 16.5 inches x 13.75 and the photo is 11 inches x 9.
