Five Taylor & Barret Lead Soldiers

The company of Taylor & Barret was established in the early 1920’s in London by two demobbed soldiers, they made lead toys and soldiers such as these, their factory was bombed out in 1940 and they never returned to the same kind of production so I can safely date these for late 1920 into the 30’s, they are hand painted and marked to the base, originally they would have had full bayonets on the rifles but sadly all are broken, otherwise they are in playworn condition standing just over two inches high.
