Scarce WW2 Cloth Formation Patch Scottish Command.

A scarce WW2 patch worn only by the Scottish command HQ staff, probably and officers badge. In September 1939 consisted of Highland Area with 9th (Highland) Infantry Division and 51st (Highland) Infantry Division, and Lowland Area with 15th (Scottish) Infantry Division and 52nd (Lowland) Infantry Division, plus other troops.[8] By 1940 during the Battle of Britain the command was responsible to Commander-in-Chief, Home Forces.
This badge is in very good condition but it has been used and taken from a uniform. It measures 2 x 1.5 inches.
