Rare Early 20th Century Mercury Light Bulb.

A very rare piece of technological history, this dates from around 1910 and probably French. It was in its time a quirky novelty, when the filament gets hot, the mercury will jump about causing a light effect. It is in perfect working condition and looking at the thickness of the filament and glass, it will never blow. It measures 3.5 inches.
