Unusual Victorian Scots Guards Kilt/Shoulder? Button

This is a very unusual button the like of which I cannot find another example, the back is stepped with two metal looped pins, it has a very specific design and therefore a specific use, made from brass for the Scots Guards it has the makers mark for Issacs & Co London, this tyle of mark was only in use from 1861 to 1865 so dates the button very accurately. It measures 26mm in diameter and comes in very good condition but is very tarnished.
