US 1887 Hospital Corps Knife

This Springfield Armory Model 1887 Hospital Corps Knife is etched "HOSPITAL CORPS/ U.S. ARMY." in a panel on the left side of the blade. The knife has a turned and grooved dark stained grip with plated brass cap and cross-guard. The knife is complete with a "Type 1" black leather scabbard with belt loop and brass throat.
