1920’s Air League of the British Empire Enamel Badge.

A 1920’s enamel badge for the Air League of the British Empire. The Air League was founded in 1909 to promote the importance of aircraft in military and civil uses. It was financed by public subscription and had a monthly magazine Air Review which held all sorts of information on the latest aeronautical advances. This badge is in excellent condition.
