WW1 German Honour Cross with Swords - Good Maker
It was instituted in the July 1934 by Paul von Hindenburg himself, and by government order, it replaced all other veteran medals issued. This medal is with cross swords, issued only to combatants who fought during WW1.
This one is marked on the back K M & F for Kallenbach Meyer & Frankie. Luckenwald. A scarce and interesting maker, they were not prolific and just produced belt buckles, tinnies and a few medals, most of which were the Honour Cross. They were approved for the RZM licence for buckles but were never issued the LDO license. This medal is in excellent condition with ribbon.
