Antique Very Large Royal Naval White Ensign Sewn Section Flag

This is a lovely example of a large Royal Naval White Ensign flag which has been constructed in sewn sections, it is marked along the hoist with the broad arrow mark, the words ‘white ens’ and the numbers 615713299, the hoist also has inset metal rings, strong thick chord sewn in and to one end a solid 9 inch what feels like a piece of wood. Condition wise for its age it is quite good, there is some roughness to the bottom edge and one tear on the bottom of the red cross, it measures roughly 8 foot 6 inches x 50 inches.
