1847 Pattern French Socket Bayonet.

An interesting bayonet for the smooth bore musket used by the French and Belgian army and many sent to the US for use in the Civil war. This one is in excellent condition, cleaned up and polished. It has only two proof marks, as pictured and measures 21 inches long.
