WW1 Trio of Medals to Scott Territorial RFA.
British war and victory medal correctly named to 1180 Gunner Thomas Scott Royal Artillery and the George V Territorial Efficiency Medal (Type A on ring suspender) correctly named to 743670 Gunner Thomas Scott Royal Field Artillery.
Gunner Scott served in France with the Royal Field Artillery Territorial Force from 2nd May 1915.
The three medals come with copies of this man’s medal index card and rolls. His medal index card states he is also entitled to the 1914/15 star. A duplicate was requested at one point and then cancelled, so it is quite possible he never received his star. When his medals were issued in 1920, Gunner Scott was still serving. He obviously served over 12 years to get his efficiency medal, which he was awarded after 1921.
All three medals are in very good original condition, a small area of staining on the victory medal.
