Victorian 1895 – 1902 India Medal +2 to Gordon Highlanders.

The Victorian India medal with the Punjab Frontier1897-98 and the Tirah 1897-98 clasps. Medal has correct engraved naming to 4156 Private P Wade of the 1st battalion Gordon Highlanders.
The Punjab Frontier clasp awarded to those who were in defence of the Shabkadr Fort, the Mohamnd field force, Malakand field force or the Tochi field force, the latter in the case of Private Wade.
The Tirah clasp was awarded to the members of the Tirah field force, the 1st Gordon Highlanders formed part of the 2nd division.
Private Wade also took part in the 2nd Anglo Boer War, and he is also entitled to the Queens south Africa medal with the Belfast, Elandslaagte, Defence of Ladysmith and Laings Nek clasps and the Kings South Africa medal with the SA01 and SA02 clasps.
This medal is in good condition with light wear and light contact marks and comes with all medal rolls confirming the above.
