Opening of Lancaster Town Hall Medallion 1909.

A solid bronze medallion struck to commemorate the opening of Lancaster town hall on 27th December 1909. This bronze medallion was given to all who attended the opening ceremony by Lord Ashton, a local multi-millionaire businessman and industrialist, who paid for the construction of the building. It still stands today in Dalton Square.
This is in superb condition, measuring 1.75 inches in diameter.
