WW2 Zuckerman Fire Guard Helmet.

The principal civilian helmet of the second world war, and as a protective helmet it was a superb design by Solly Zuckerman, Derman Christopherson and Hugh Cairns in 1940. This is a good wartime issue with ‘Fire Guard’ stencilled to the front. It still retains its original liner and comes in good used condition, but missing chin strap.
