Original Signature Micky Martin – Dambuster.

Original Hand signed signature of Sir Harold Brownlow Morgan (Micky) Martin KBC, DSO & bar, DFC & two bars, AFC.
He was one of the main pilots during operation Chastise, the RAF’s dam buster raid in May 1943. He piloted the Lancaster bomber AJ-P Popsie / Peter in the first formation making the attack on the Mohne Dam, in western Germany. His Lancaster was hit by Anti-aircraft fire during his run, but he successfully accomplished his attack and returned home. He was later to become Air Marshal with the RAF. His list of achievements was remarkable and he was played by Bill Kerr in the 1955 film the Dambusters.
Sadly, he died on 3rd November 1988 in his home at Kensington, London, and was buried in Gunnersbury cemetery.
His signature comes with a print of a Lancaster under flack and a photograph with short bio on the back. ready to frame A4.
