Victorian Thames Tunnel Medallion 1842.

A base metal medallion with silver wash to commemorate the opening of the Thames Tunnel by queen Victoria in 1842. The obverse with relief of Sir Marc Brunel and reverse with a scene of the tunnel entrance at Wapping.
In very good condition but most of silver wash is missing.
