Rare WW2 Dutch Practice Grenade.

The WW2 era first model Dutch Egg Grenade (Eihandgranaat) for throwing practice. It is made of a light metal, probably tin and filled with sand. These grenades are scarce, but I’ve never seen a practice version before. In good condition, bottom threaded stopper is missing. these must have been smashed to pieces when used due to their light construction, possibly why few survived. It measures 5 inches tall.
