WW2 Dated 1944 pair of Army Officers Field Boots

This pair of WW2 officers brown leather field boots are clearly marked on the inside with ‘K Boot 1944 Gh283 9 N’ I assume this means a size 9, they are additionally marked 9 over M with the broad arrow on the base near the heel, each boot has numerous studs on the heel and sole, they come in fair condition, a bit dirty and the leather is crying out for a feed, showing signs of age and use they could still be re purposed for re-enactors.
