1899 Pattern Cavalry Troopers Sword – Refurbished for Modern Use

An interesting 1890 pattern cavalry sword which was refurbished and replated for use during the 1960’s to make it standard regulation. It has been kept basically the same, it now has a wire bound leather grip and the original Shoe / Drag has been removed from the scabbard. The blade and scabbard have original and modern proof marks, and it carries the makers mark for Sanderson Bros & Newbold Limited. As it has been refurbished, it is in very good condition and measures 40.5 inches long.
