WW1 Inert German Discus Grenade.

WW1 German Diskushandgranate, Discus or turtle grenade, Designed in around 1913 to shatter on detonation. There were two types, I believe, the defensive grenade was made from cast iron, and the offensive grenade was made of thin steel, but both had devastating effects. This one is the cast defensive example and in very good original condition but missing wone of its brass screw caps on the side, all others and pin are present.
