1949 Pattern BDB & Beret Major Parachute Regiment.

A nice original 1949 pattern battle dress blouse with all original untouched insignia and lanyard for a Major in the parachute regiment, although the Pegasus badges have been removed. He served during the war with the Army Air Corps and was awarded the 1939 star, Defence medal. War medal and the general service medal. It has a name inside ‘Elgar’ which I think is P E Elgar AAC who served as a captain during WW2. It also comes with a post war beret with Kings Crown badge.
Both items are in very good used condition BDB size 11. Hight 5’9 to 5’10. Breast 38” to 39”. Waist 33” to 34”.
