WW2 Era US Purple Heart Medal.

The United States of America’s oldest decoration for Military Merit still awarded in the name of the president. This one a nice WW2 – Korean war era medal in very good used condition with two ribbon bars, one bar a later addition and an enamel buttonhole bar. The purple enamel on the medal, is glass enamel and not the current resin based enamel, so a genuine issue.
