Rare WW1 Era Postcards – National Shooting Gallery – Edith Cavell

A rare collection of WW1 postcards in a concertina package which was issued by the National shooting gallery (Belgium) and is entitled ‘ Souvenir of the civilian martyrs of the Great War 1914 – 1918’, inside are 10 postcards which feature: Edith Cavell, Gabrielle Petit, various graves and towards the back two quite graphic photo postcards of dead German soldiers in coffins, one who was shot delivering false passports to the Belgians and the other who was shot for refusing to shoot Edith Cavell. Having been protected by the outer cover they are in excellent condition.
