WW1 French Médaille Militaire Group & Citation Certificate.

WW1 French Médaille Militaire, Croix de Guerre 1914 – 18 and French WW1 Commemorative medal with the named citation for the Médaille Militaire to Alphonse Brandon an energetic and courageous soldier, who was seriously wounded (shot and lost vision in his left eye) at his post on 14th November 1914.
The medals and certificate were framed but the glass was broken and frame fell apart, so they now come lose. The medals are mounted on a bar, and the certificate has been back with hardboard. An interesting gallantry group with a name to research. The certificate measures 20 x 14 inches and the medals are in very good condition with toning and light wear.
