A charming leather-bound book, ‘Beats of the Field’ by William J Long and illustrated by Charles Copeland.
Published 1903. A collection of short stories about mainly north American animals. It was given as an examination prize at Cheltenham Collage to F H Pritchard. Signed by head master and principal Christmas 1903.
In excellent condition and a delightful read.
