Vintage Syrian Jambiya Dagger.

A smaller size Jambiya dagger with a very ornate hilt, brass pommel with horn and bone grip inlayed with brass. It has a short, curved steel blade and a brass covered scabbard. This type of Jambiya also known as Majdali were made in one region of Syria, in the workshops on the slopes of mount Hermon in the Golan hights Syria. It is beautifully made and comes in very good condition, measuring 9 inches long.
