Victorian Police Hanger / Cutlass.

A good early Victorian police sword dating from the 1840’s / 50’s. it has a
brass D guard and pommel with leather grip missing twisted wire binding. It has a very nice, curved cutlass type blade with no maker’s mark. It comes with its original brass mounted leather scabbard and in very good used condition. Locking catch button is missing but catch is still present. Still a nice example, measuring 27 inches long.
