WW2 German War Merit Cross without Swords by Palme

A very good early war example of this 2nd class medal, awarded without swords to noncombatants and civilians for meritorious service in aid of the war effort. It has the makers number on the suspender ring of ‘87’ for Roman Palme of Gablonz, which was once in Bohemia but it is now in the Czech Republic. A hard to find maker. This one comes in very good original condition and comes on a good piece of original ribbon.
