WW2 Era German Panzer Assault Badge by Wiedmann.

A very good bronze class Panzer Assault badge. A cast metal badge with slightly domed back and covered with a bronze wash, of which a lot remains. It has the correct pin and hinge on the back along with the makers mark of E. Ferdinand Wiedmann Frankfurt. A very renown maker responsible of manufacturing around 120,000 honour crosses for the Reich along with other badges and medals of all types until his factory was virtually destroyed by allied bombing in 1945.
This badge comes in very good condition, slight wear to the surface and the pin is slightly bent.
