A superb example of the 1866 pattern cruciform blade sword bayonet made for use on the 8mm M1886 Lebel rifle, used through the first world war and after. It has a solid nickel grip with steel locking catch and hook quillon. This one is in superb original condition with various impressed numbers and proof marks.
