WW2 Army Air Corps Cap Badge.

A WW2 era Army Air Corps white metal cap badge. An interesting and under rated badge that during the early part of the second world war incorporated Glider Pilots, SAS and Parachutists until 1943 when the Parachute regiment was formed and after the Special Air Service got their own badge, it was just Glider Pilots who wore the badge. Passengers in the gliders wore their own regimental badge on the red beret with airborne insignia. This badge was used until around 1950 when the glider pilots were issued their own badge.
This one is in excellent original condition, and of late war period.
