WW2 German Krim (Crimea) Shield.
WW2 German ‘Krim’ arm shield awarded to military personnel under the command of Field Marshal von Manstein, including supporting naval and air force units, who fought against Soviet Red Army forces between 21 September 1941 and 4 July 1942 and who captured the Crimea region. The shield is stamped from sheet metal and would have had a bronze finish, now missing, as is the cloth backing and plate and also one pin from the back. But a good original example measuring 2 x 2.5 inches.
