Border Regiment Helmet Plate / Pagri Badge.

A pre-WW1 Broder regiment helmet plate centre used during the Boer war as Sun Helmet pagri badges. It has the correct fixings on the back, three heavy lugs and correct red woollen felt backing for the centre.
In excellent condition, still quite bright with only very light wear.
