A 1914 / 15 star correctly named for 19682 William Tarbet of the 9th Battalion Cameronians. Official correction to surname which is confirmed on his medal index card.

A very good quality solid and heavy badge for the United States Army Transport Services this example being for an officer, it has two screw lugs on the back for fixing and is made from a gilded metal, measuring just under 2.5 inches long it comes in very good condition with some wear to the surface gilding. WW1 Era Silver War Badge – Boland – Suffolk Regiment

Private 1720 Albert Boland served with the 1/4th Suffolk regiment and saw service in France, he was entitled to a 14 star trio and was discharged in January 1916 with sickness, this could be anything from trench foot to shell shock. His silver war badge is numbered 187145, this comes in fair condition, the pin being broken on the back.  read more

Vintage Possibly Russian Cannon Corkscrew and Bottle Opener

This unusual piece is modelled as a cannon, the barrel twists off to reveal a corkscrew and the base stand doubles as a bottle opener, there are marks/patterns on the top of the barrel that may have been red enamel filled originally, measuring 4.5 inches long it comes in very good condition.  read more

A very good condition pin badge dating from the Great War era and made for the Canadian Red Cross Society with a white enamel ‘visitor’ bar to the top, brass and enamel construction with original silk ribbon, it measures 2.25 long including the ribbon, one blemish to the enamel at the 1 o’clock position.  read more
