Large WW1 Era Trench Art Candle Sconce – Royal Artillery

WW1 British War Medal – R. Whittle Royal Lancashire Regiment
Here is a single British war medal awarded to 3278 private Rueben Whittle of the Royal Lancashire regiment, his medal index card shows he was entitled to a 15 star trio and joined in December 1915, it looks like he was discharged. No further research has been done on this man, the medal comes in good condition but has some edge knocks and surface marks. read more

A pair of scarce WW2 cloth patches made of embroidered silk on to wool felt backing, for the Orkney and Shetland district defence command.
This district command included anti-aircraft units and search light units, mainly taken from Northern regiments.

Issued to private 58594 Alfred Pond of the Cheshire regiment, his paperwork shows he enlisted in December 1915 and saw service including overseas and was discharged in April 1919. The badge is numbered B184565 and is in good condition but lacking the pin on the back. read more
