If there is a testimony of how brave and resilient this generation was, it is this trio.
It comprises of 1914/15 Star, British war and victory medal all correctly named to S/3535 Private John Bilsborough of the 6th (Morayshire) battalion the Duke of Albany’s (Ross-shire Buffs) the Seaforth Highlanders.

Victorian Royal Irish Regiment Officers Helmet Plate.

A magnificent quality Victorian Royal Irish Regiment Officers home service helmet plate. It is a three-part plate in gilt metal with sterling silver embellishments, the centre harp and shamrock sit on a red silk velvet pad.
This condition of this plate is outstanding with very little to no wear or loss to the original gilt. Guaranteed an original piece dating from 1881 to 1901.  read more

WW2 Era RAF Leaflet Dropped for the French Sailors Dilemma

A scarce WW2 era leaflet dropped by the RAF to the French Navy outlining their dilemma, the bulk of the text was an address given by a Naval officer on the radio who was serving with the free French forces about their doubts and apprehensions with the current situation. An A5 size leaflet which comes in good condition for its age with one small tear along the left edge.  read more

A scarce WW2 era leaflet all in the French language air dropped by the RAF to the French people telling them about the friend they have in Churchill and all of the historic help and support he has given the people since the Great War through 1941. Scarce WW1 Era Bedfordshire Yeomanry Sweetheart Brooch

A very nice quality brass and enamel sweetheart brooch for the Bedfordshire yeomanry constructed from brass with blue enamel, there are a variety of Sweethearts for the Bedfordshires but I cant find one in this style, it comes in good condition with some light wear to the brass and it measures two inches long.  read more

WW1 Era Waterloo Bayonet Brooch Pin

This is a super condition WW1 era miniature bayonet fashioned as a brooch, it has ‘Waterloo’ along one side of the blade and has been finished with a tiny mother-of-pearl grip, it measures just over 1.75 inches long.  read more

Pair Early 20thC RNLI Marked Binoculars.

A rare find, a pair of superb quality binoculars by H H & Son Ltd of Liverpool. They are finished in black with eye cups and marked on one of the shrouds ‘Royal National Lifeboat Institution’. They are in very good condition, nice clear, clean lenses, leather neck strap and what looks to be a later brown leather case. 5x 5 inches.  read more

WW2 Era German West Wall Medal,

A very good early medal which was instituted on 2 August 1939 and was given to those who designed and built the fortifications on Germany's western borders, known as the West Wall or, in English, the Siegfried Line. On 13 November 1939 eligibility was extended to include servicemen of the Wehrmacht who served on the West Wall for at least ten weeks. This medal ceased to be issued in 1941.

1930’s DRL Sports Badge – Bronze.

German Sports Badges was issued for the completion of various physical and athletic tests, this one is in bronze so a 3rd class award.
