WW1 era Dulwich and District Defence League Cap Badge.

WW1 cap badge for the Dulwich and District Defence League, chemically darked bronze. Part of the Volunteer force 1914-19 the formation of the Dulwich Defence League was announced soon after war was declared. It was a kind of First World War Home Guard although many of its members would later transfer into the regular army. This is a superb example in perfect condition.

The large oval white metal badge for the 2nd Northamptonshire Yeomanry, used from around 1939 until the 1950’s when the regiment became part of the Inns of Court Regiment. In very good condition lightly toned.  read more

Victorian 4th Regiment of Foot Glengarry Badge.

The all-brass glengarry badge of the 4th Kings Own Royal Regiment of foot issued from 1874 to 1871. This one is in excellent condition for its age with a nice mellow tone, but it does show signs of wear and use.
