Two Vintage Cloth Patches U.S.S. Edenton & Polar Expedition

These two cloth patches come with a newspaper article which links the ship to the Edenton patch however I cant factor in the Polar patch. A local to me company were responsible for building the ship for the U.S navy in the late 60’s/early 70’s and a 2009 newspaper article covers this information. All come in good condition.  read more

Interesting WW2 Era and Later Photo’s and Ephemera – One Essex Family

At the centre of this group is one lady, Constance M. Bamford she appears to have served with the QARANC and subsequently in the nursing service receiving what I think is the Charing cross hospital medal being awarded to her in 1971 by the Queen mother. 1855 Pattern Lancaster Sword Bayonet.

A nice example of the iconic Lancaster Sword Bayonet made to fit the Lancaster Carbine. This is a full-size post 1858 version with press stud spring fastened by slotted head screw.
