A Scarce WW1 era Bulgarian Red Cross medal awarded for service with the Red Cross during the great war. The 1915 date on the medal is the date when the Bulgaria joined the war on the side of the Central Powers . These were not issued until 1918 for the first world war and again for the second world war in silver and silver with red enamel.
