This pair of WW2 officers brown leather field boots are clearly marked on the inside with ‘K Boot 1944 Gh283 9 N’ I assume this means a size 9, they are additionally marked 9 over M with the broad arrow on the base near the heel, each boot has numerous studs on the heel and sole, they come in fair condition, a bit dirty and the leather is crying out for a feed, showing signs of age and use they...  read more

A wonderful example of this early 2nd class badge, awarded for being wounded three or four times, or suffering loss of a hand, foot or eye facial disfigurement or brain damage caused in action with the enemy.
