Scarce WW1 Era Blackpool Volunteers Cap Badge.
Part of the 1914-19 volunteer force, this is the badge for the 1st battalion Blackpool. These were a kind of rifle battalion, and they had did have some of their badges chemically darkened so it now hard to tell if this badge is a OR’s with wear to the blacking of an officers bronze badge. Either way a rare first world war raised unit badge.
