A scarce WW2 era screen printed cloth patch for the Tripolitania or Tripoli district. This area saw fierce fighting between British and German armoured forces in 1942 and it is situated on the coast of Libya North Africa, hence the ship. Victorian Devonshire Regiment Slouch Hat Badge.

With the lack of slouch hat and Puggaree badges during the Boer war, helmet plate centres were used with a long slider fitted to the back, this one is in superb condition, still showing a lot of its original gilt finish and only very slight wear to the high points.
