WW2 Special Constabulary Brodie helmet.

An early WW2 Special Constabulary Brodie helmet the front with original paint ‘S C 84-Z’ I have been told by a Special Constabulary collector that is was the Croydon area, but I haven’t followed this up with any research.
It is in very good untouched condition, the inside surface is in better condition than the outside, but this is probably due to 80 plus years of storage. It is stamped on the inside rim with a number and 1939 EC & Co Ltd. It also comes with its original liner and chin strap.
