Antique Greek Order of the Redeemer Gold Class with Paperwork

The first thing I have to say about this medal is that I include a printed lengthy description about the history of the award which is a bit wordy but does clarify its criteria. This framed example is the gold class award and descriptions on other web sites suggest that it is 14ct gold, included below is another description from a different web site including the Greek translations. Most of the other examples I can find are unattributed this one however has everything needed to attribute it to one man Mr Thomas James Russel, he was awarded the medal in 1907 and to verify this is the original certificate issued by the Greeks and signed by George I King of the Greeks and this names the award as ‘the golden cross of the two lords’ there is also a typed letter issued under Crown Prince Constantine who was regent at the time calling the medal ‘the golden cross of the Knights of the royal order of the saviour’. The award appears to have been given for Mr Russell’s work with the Westminster bank. In addition to the paperwork there are two large framed photographs of Thomas and I assume his wife, he is wearing the award around his neck, these are large and heavy and will be expensive to ship so to the future new owner: should you not want the two frames please let me know and I will revise the shipping costs. The award although boxed framed is accessible and I have found there to be a small chip on the reverse (please see pictures) otherwise it comes in very good condition, the ribbon is slightly faded and the paperwork shows signs of age and storage. An unusual nicely documented award.
