WW1 Era Comrades of the Great War Pin Badge by Gaunt

A nice example in brass and coloured enamels of a ‘Comrades of the Great War’ pin badge, maker marked on the back for J.R. Gaunt of London and bearing the issue number 17326, it comes in good condition for its age with one chip to the enamel at the 6 o’clock position, a larger size badge measures 1.25 in diameter.  read more

Victorian Grenadier Guards Cast Iron Plate.

A heavy cast iron plate / badge for the Grenadier Guards up to 1901. I’m not sure what this was used for, no fixing on the back and too heavy to wear. but a of good Victorian origin, probably a map weight. In very good condition measuring 3 x 4 inches.  read more
