Vintage Royal Navy Ratings Cap.
WW2 or just post WW2 RN rating service cap with tally for HMS Diana. The top is made of white cotton which has had ‘Blanco’ applied many times. Inside it is very clean with a maker’s label for Sanders & Brightman, Luton. Size 6 3/4. It is in very Good used condition, chin strap has been reattached at some point. read more
Late 19th/early 20thC Naval Midshipman’s 3 Draw Telescope
This small 3 draw telescope dates from the late 19th to early 20th century and would have been used by a Naval midshipman, solid brass construction with a leather grip and protective brass cap, it comes in good condition for its age, the optics are clear but would benefit from a clean, the leather grip is worn with a small loss. It measures 16 inches extended and is just under 6 closed. read more
Two 1950’s Panoramic Photographs 4th Batt Suffolk Reg (T.A.)
These two large panoramic photographs feature the 4th T.A. battalion the Suffolk regiment, the slightly smaller one is dated for 1957 and features hundreds of uniformed soldiers, the larger one is dated for 1958 and has the caption ‘on the occasion of the visit of H.R.H.
