A white metal WW1 peace medallion issued by the County Borough of Southend-on-sea in 1919 to commemorate the end of the Great War. A pewter type metal which has been holed to take a jump ring for wearing, the medallion comes in good condition with signs of age and use, it measures approx. 1.25 inches in diameter.  read more

A great deal of small towns produced peace medals following the Great War, this one came from the Essex village of Little Thurrock, the layout of the medals were the same then the town’s name was added to the back, this one measures just over 1.25 inches in diameter and comes in very good but aged condition.  read more

A nice condition white metal button for the Leicestershire 1st volunteer battalion, this was used from the late Victorian era up to 1908, it is maker marked on the back for J&B Pears & Co London, it comes in very good condition and measures approx. one inch in diameter.  read more

Vintage QEII Era Army Medical Services Nursing Badge

A very good quality white metal and green enamel badge for the Army Medical Services School of Nursing, the green enamel generally denotes a State Enrolled Nurse (SEN) qualification earned after two years of training, no makers mark, it comes in very good condition with no damage to the enamel and measures just under one inch in diameter.  read more

Vintage Original Bowie Knife by Solar.

A nice early example of this type of knife by solar. With aluminium pommel, stacked leather grip with small brass guard. Good steel blade mark ‘Original Bowie Knife’ with Solar’s makers mark quite faint on the ricasso. In good order, some light staining to the blade and comes with original black leather scabbard.
It measures 11 inches long.

Original Signature of Dennis David – Battle of Britain Pilot.

The original hand signed signature in pen (William) Dennis David CBE, DFC & Bar, AFC of the 87 and 213 squadron during the battle of Britain. He was credited with 17 aerial victories flying his fighter plane during the battle of France, battle of Britain before serving in the middle east. A bit of a mix up this one, it is made from a silver Canadian small button which has been cut on the sides to let in a pin then it has been backed with an English Sterling silver plate, designed I’m sure to be a sweetheart brooch it measures 1.5 inches long and comes in very good condition.  read more
