WW1 German Trench Snipers Shield

WW1 German solid steel sniper shield with peephole and cover and easel stand. This one was originally battlefield found and has some battle damage, probably hit by a shell, these were incredibly effective piece of defensive kit and would stop bullets and shrapnel. An 1895 pattern German Pickelhaube helmet. It has a hard leather shell, leather adjustable liner with the correct 9 panels. Brass peek rim, brass one piece spike, this has a little damage towards the tip and brass spine with air vent. WW1 German Grenade Morter Kleine Granatenwerfer.

A WW1 German Kleine Granatenwerfer or Gr.W.16 infantry mortar of Austro-Hungarian design. It was in fact designed by a Austro-Hungarian priest named Father Vécer and so nicknamed ‘Priesterwerfers’. It was produced for the German army from 1916. It was mainly fired from pits near the front line and the high angle of projection was able to penetrate enemy troops in dug-in positions.

WW1 German Krugel Grenade.

A very nice example of the German Krugel grenade, now inert and totally safe with its original fuse.
The Krugel hand grenade (Kugelhandgranate) model 1913 fragmentation grenade was filled with a mixture of black powder, barium nitrate, and potassium perchlorate, and did not require a detonator.

A scarce original 1930’s Italian Black Shirts sleeve or arm badge for the 3rd CC.NN. Division 21st Aprile.
division raised on 10 June 1935 for the Second Italo-Ethiopian War against Ethiopia. The name "21 Aprile" was chosen to commemorate the legendary date of the founding of Rome. They also served in Italian Libya during WW2. This badge is made from Aluminium with a black painted ground...  read more

All leather Fireman’s helmet with leather comb from one of the small German states. A nice old helmet dating, probably from the preunification of Germany 1871. It is in reasonable condition showing both age and wear, but a great example of its type.  read more

WW2 era Italian 23rd Artillery division cloth cap badge worn on the Bustina type cloth cap. This badge is in good used condition but has a little moth damage on the bottom right edge. It comes with a same period generic collar badge but un-numbered. the cap badge measures 3 x 3 inches, the collar measures 1.75 x 1.75 inches.  read more
