The all-brass Glengarry badge worn by the 86th Regiment of foot, the Royal County Down regiment worn from 1874 to 1881.
This badge is in excellent condition for its age, but it does show signs of wear and use, correct brooch pin fitting on the back. It measures 1.75 x 3 inches.  read more

Pre 1881 3rd regiment officer Glengarry badge. Made of very fine gilt metal with white metal centre boss, probably silver but not tested, on a black silk velvet background. Post 1881 the 3rd became the Buffs, East Kent Regiment. This badge is in excellent condition only very light wear to the surface, the back of the badge is toned. WW1 Medal Pair to Hoyle Cheshire Regiment.

A good British war and victory medal awarded to 46130 Private Walter Hoyal of the Cheshire regiment. It comes with copies of his medal index card and medal roll to show the pair as his full entitlement. Private Hoyle was later transferred to the Labour Corps with a change of number to 37374.
