Late 19th Century Bust of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria.

A lovely quality Parian Porcelain framed bust of the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I; born 18th August 1830 and ascended the throne on 2nd December 1848 until his death in 1916. He reigned over the Austrian Empire and as king of Hungary from 1867. From 1st May 1850 to 24 August 1866, he was also president of the German Confederation.

An interesting Saxon medal struck to commemorate the Battle of Leipzig in 1813. A beautiful little watch for featuring the heads of Kaiser Wilhelm and Franz Joseph on the obverse with written around the outside ‘United and Strong’. The reverse as the Iron Cross and a small engraved initials. Dated 1914 and it measures 1 inch in diameter and tests as 925 silver.  read more

A scarce WW1 German Memorial card remembering Otto Schanzenbach. Born in Wimmental on 13th August 1849 and died February 18th 1919.
Karl Schanzenbach, born in Wimmental 5th January1893, and served with the 25th regiment (Queen Olga’s) Dragoons. He died a heroic death for his country on 31st August 1918, in Rostell France.

An original WW1 Era Photograph of a German NCO of the 64th (8th Brandenburg) Infantry regiment sporting his Iron cross 1st class and the 2nd class ribbon on his tunic.

WW1 era German NCO's Uniform collar button, this is a large size button decorated with the imperial eagle and a single button was worn on one side of the collar. It is in very good condition but was a metal detector find on the western front. It measures 3cm in diameter.  read more
