Antique Silver Pocket Watch & Chain.

800 grade silver cased pocket watch with top winding Swiss movement. The back of the case is engraved ‘Lourks’ and inside the case ‘Every Monday 1/2d’ obviously someone’s in joke. Antique Copper Covered Box Krakow Castle.

Probably an early 20th century souvenir from the great Wawel Castle in Krakow Poland.
It is a solid wooden box which is completely covered with ornately decorated copper, decorative copper hinges and lock also with metal carrying handles on both sides. Night Watchman’s Tell-Tale Recording Clock

Brass Night Watchman’s clock by dent dating from the 1920’s – 1940’s. they were used to ensure that a night watchman carried out his rounds at the required intervals. Keys with different symbols would be chained at various points on the round, the night watchman would use these to punch a mark on the paper recording disc showing the time he visited each station.

Scarce Vintage Moorcroft Pottery Vase – Unusual Pattern

This very pretty hand painted vase was made by the famous Moorcroft factory, it is most likely a rare trainee piece from 1996 by Hayley Mitchell, it comes in a pattern known as ‘bunches of grapes’ but with an unusual colourway and I have been unable to find another example in this style, it is marked on the base with 96 and the artists initials along with the usual Moorcroft factory marks. 1832 Reform Bill Political Medal.

A rare silvered base metal medallion in support of the reform act of 1832 also known as the Great Reform Act, was a UK law that changed the electoral system in England and Wales.
This example features the prominent ministers of the time, Earl Grey, Lord Althorp, Lord John Russel and Lord Brougham. It is in good condition measures just under 2 inches in diameter.  read more
