A large sized cross of St George English flag, made from linen and constructed in sewn sections, it has short rope through the hoist, it measures nearly 9 foot long x 4 foot wide, it has had a life and shows some repairs mainly to the bottom edges. WW1 Machine Gun Corps Officers Cap Badge.

A good officer’s bronze badge with a maker’s pad mark for Firmin London. All folding blades are missing from the back and a brooch type fitting added. This either happened in the field of it was converted after the war to be worn on the jacket collar. in very good condition showing very little wear to the detail.  read more

Late WW2 US M1 Helmet.

The late WW2 M1 helmet shell with swivel bale and rear seam, over painted probably for Korean war era use. The applied textured finish has a large section on the top of the helmet missing. It has the typical fibre liner with webbing liner straps and leather sweatband. Later part nylon / webbing chin strap. It comes with an original camouflage cover and all in all a good original used helmet.  read more

There were two types, I believe, the defensive grenade was made from cast iron, and the offensive grenade was made of thin steel, but both had devastating effects.
