A German great war issued Pickelhaube worn by an enlisted man in the Saxon Artillery. It is an 1897 pattern helmet that has been reissued for the war. 1856 Pattern Pioneer Sawback Short Sword by Wilkinson.

A very fine example of the 1856 pattern Pioneers sword with saw back. It has a brass hilt and grip with an ‘ear shape’ guard with a scrolled quillon. It has a good steel blade with a sharp saw back used for clearing scrub, trees etc and at the ricasso it is marked ‘Wilkinson London’ with the date 5/94.
